Hey; there was one box left under the tree! :D
That was a lovely late Christmas gift. Stands out as a beacon among the sea of soullessness we're witnessing across animation and culture today.

Those glasses, ironically enough, make this cartoon unwatchable.
I've given these a pass because I liked some of your voice acting and had some nostalgia for this type of content, but the calculated formula is becoming obvious and wearing very thin. You've gotten popular enough now that your work will have an audience regardless of whether it's click-bait or not. I really hope you start focusing on content that doesn't rely on pop culture iconography for attention, or at least pick on some sacred cows instead of TV shows, movies, and content creators that are safe to mock.
This was well worth the wait, Aaron. Fantastic animation, ambitious story, inventive techniques, effective sound design and music, It feels like you really put the best of yourself out there without reservation.
thanks, I did end up taking longer with this one than I'd hoped so I'm glad it paid off!
There is wonderful art and animation in this, it just feels like it's trying to be too safe and inoffensive to achieve to sort of satirical humor it's capable of as an independent project using unlicensed depictions of multi million dollar corporate properties. It feels extremely close to something that could actually air on Cartoon Network...but you have the opportunity here to say something that you wouldn't be able to say there. Furry fetishes and Steven being overly positive are very safe ideas, things that have been poked fun at on Cartoon Network in one way or another, and there were times it felt like you were purposefully holding back so as not to bother people, and I understand that. I don't think you have to necessarily go full edgelord either, just man, this is Newgrounds. You should feel freer here to create something from your mind and soul than anywhere else. If you feel as though this is the stuff you'd like to make then that's absolutely fine, I just say set yourself free if fear or scruples are keeping you from saying some of the things you'd like to say through your art
That Dolly zoom at 5 secs is gnarly. Great specific dynamic poses that flow into each other to create believable movement. Your use of smear frames is excellent and shows great restraint and purpose. I do feel like a big of an antic at 11 secs would have helped the energy of her movement read better, just some indication of where that energy is coming from or where it went. great, immensely promising stuff!
Great lively and clear animation,GREAT use of 3D backgrounds to evoke 2D sensibilities, fun character designs, keep it up, man!
Thanks! The 3D scene was a lot of fun to put together. Keen to do more backgrounds like this :)
I'm glad we have this in lieu of King of the Hill being off the air for a decade. Keep it up man.
